Helena Ospina Lizarralde ist eine multidisziplinäre kolumbianische Künstlerin, deren Werk von Keramik, Weberei und Video bis hin zu Performance und Installation reicht. Ihre Arbeit steht an der Schnittstelle zwischen Kunst und Philosophie und erforscht die Wechselbeziehung zwischen der natürlichen Welt und der menschlichen Existenz.

Ospina Lizarralde's work emerges from different practices she develops to understand her own existential questions, always standing at the intersection between art and philosophy. In her current ongoing research, she addresses the fundamental issue of time. Reflecting upon our relationship with it and how our existence is determined by its social understanding.

An example of this initiative is the work Perdiendo el tiempo, by the artist Helena Ospina Lizarralde. It is an installation painting made with dry leaves sewn by hand with cotton thread and fragmented into six parts, which reflects on memory and nature as art material; raises the question of the usefulness of art and remembrance and a reflection on time.

Eine Gruppe internationaler Künstler*innen schafft mit diesem Programm eine Gelegenheit für Begegnung. Es ist eine Einladung an alle Menschen vor Ort in Marzahn, Kunst zu erleben und sich an künstlerischen Angeboten entlang der Marzahner Promenade zu beteiligen. Vom 25. Juni bis zum 13. August werden insgesamt 50 Veranstaltungen auf der Marzahner Promenade stattfinden.
